This site is, for the most part, completely inactive. I have not had time to rejig or write new things. It has been left online merely for historical reference. Due to the economic downturn CARTA has seen a decline in the playing of the game. Many of the members have married and gone on to lives that do not allow for the regular consumption of large amounts of beers and general merry-making while throwing rocks in an organized manner. The game is in danger of disappearing and it is sad but true; perhaps inevitable. Hopefully things will change and I will be able to rework the site in the future and more games can be played.
For now we remain as we are.

Welcome to Rocks Canada

Thank you for visiting Rocks Canada, the home of the Canadian Amateur Rock Throwers Association. We are currently under going a facelift and will be up and down from time to time, but I am sure that you don't mind as long as it means that there is some new content coming.

A New Look

As you can see from the navigation bar on the left, we plan on having lots to do and see hear. Those of you who are regulars here may notice a few additions and deletions there too. At the moment, most of the site is from the original site and has been reformated and corrected here and there. But feel free to click away for now if you just feel like taking the new site out for a spin!

This is a big step for us a Rocks Canada. We are attempting to use some new coding techniques (namely CSS or Cascading Style Sheets) and, though we are trying our best to ensure that all of the code is good, some links, formatting and general schemes may not work the best yet. Please bear with us while we work all of the bugs out!

We need new content!
