What Is CARTA?

First of all, CARTA stands for the Canadian Amateur Rock Throwers Association. It was established in 1998 and is the governing body for the game of Rocks in Canada.
It is currently responsible for:

Creating, altering and enforcing the rules of the Game of Rocks.
Organizing sanctioned tournaments and games.
Gathering and organizing statistics, photos and articles about the Game of Rocks in conjunction with RocksCanada.
Promotion of the Game of Rocks through whatever means necessary and available.
Enlisting members in the Association (in conjuction with RocksCanada)
Creation of official merchandise.
Ensuring that the game continues to be played in Canada and continues to be fun.
Organizing meetings to discuss the concerns of members regarding the Game of Rocks

Every member of CARTA has a voice in their association and no one is ignored. CARTA consists of a group of enterprising and creative sportsmen and women from varying backgrounds who care about the Game of Rocks and like to have a good time. CARTA is also interested in establishing bonds with other Amateur and Professional Rock Throwers Associations or any similar associations.
