GAME ONE
REDROB VS JUNIOR

This final match-up was definately the best possible scenario for an inaugural tournament like the All-Star Rockin'Vitational. With the two contestants coming from both ends of the spectrum in terms of experience and in their home-towns. RedRob, the newcomer rookie from the beautiful City of Vancouver, just steps from Rec Beach, was to take on the Veteran and Co-Creator of the game, Junior, hailing from Hamilton, Ontario. The crowd could not have been more pleased with this match-up and they each had their favourites.

The weather for the day was cool and snowy. While the competitors had already needed to deal with cold and snowy conditions in the pits, they were yet to have to deal with a veritable blizzard rolling through the Virvulux 2000 Arena. As the first game of the final started the snow was already teaming down, making for poor visibility and wet competitors, Boss, Groomers and fans alike. Though, there was nothing that was going to keep this game from happening. This best fo 5 Championship was about to begin and the competitors had their beers (most playing with the two beer system to minimize carrying), the Boss Slugger had his, adn the fans theirs. "Let the final begin!" exclaimed Boss Slugger. And the game was on.

In a match full of graciousness, politeness and all around good sportsmanship, Junior and RedRob traded off nicities and gave the hammer to the other on several occasions. However, this first game was settled quickly and it looked as though that was the was that this final match was going to go. Junior had already had an in the air Hit to the stick in the 10th to take the lead 12-7. But RedRob rallied back for the next two ends trying to fend off the Veteran to make it 12-9, Junior. But the 13th and 14th end were Juniors as the scored a single in the 13th and a big double in the 14th to take the game 15-9 after 14 ends.

FINAL SCORE
REDROB - 9
JUNIOR - 15
14 ends.

GAME TWO
REDROB VS JUNIOR

This second game was stilled under snow-filled skies, but the fans didn't care and neither did the players. The quality of play so far was above and beyond what they had seen up in these parts in years past. The beer was cold and the play was hot. RedRob started of hot with a double in the first end to jump into an early lead. Junior promptly answered back with a single in the second and the two traded off singles for the next couple of ends. It looked deadly for Junior after the end of the 9th when RedRob had just marked up his fourth double of the game, his second in a row and the fifth in a row for the game. RedRob led the game 10-4 at this point and it looked to be over for Junior. But, as is the wild turn-around nature of this dynamic sport, Junior fired back with a huge triple in the 10th to bring the game to a closer score of 10-7, RedRob. However, Red fired up the jets and only allowed Junior one point in the next four ends as he took the game with a big raise to count two in the 14th and end game two 15-8.

FINAL SCORE
REDROB - 15
JUNIOR - 8
14 ends.
